Central University of Haryana is one of the fifteen new Central Universities established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, under the Central University Act-2009 enacted by the Parliament during the XI Five Year Plan (2007-2012).
The University has been accredited with ‘A’ Grade in the second cycle of NAAC assessment and accreditation conducted in August 2023. It has also been placed among the Top 150-200 Universities in the NIRF Rankings, reflecting its commitment towards academic excellence, innovation, and quality education.
Fully funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the University is situated on a sprawling 484-acre permanent campus at Jant-Pali villages in Mahendergarh district of Haryana. The University presently offers 86 academic programmes at Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Research levels across diverse disciplines.
